Across from the Chicken Kitchen Morgue

scissor circus Sat at 2nd floor deck overlooking University and Park, crossroads for hundreds of brownian molecules boucing off one another on their way to class, work, home, fun, dreaded conversations, painful encounters, fulfillment of one sort or another. I just sit with my foam cup warming cold hands. I ride the bus to work, the stop is about 8 blocks from my house. I catch it around 7:25 or so and sit with my legs cramped by all the students who ride it to class in the AM. They're all just getting started... beginning that fascinating time in life where their eyes are being opening to the possibilities and the dangers of the rest of their life. I finished with the US Air Force in January, and now work for the best damned department in the University. Life can be good to a guy, from time to time.
