Formidable circumstances encompassing work and home life have produced a fog so dense, I'm just now recovering. It's been 21 days since I last thought out e-loud in this space. Bills overdue, gas shut off, car accident, gas turned on, Tulip to the ER, 8 hours + 2X(Motrin/Tylenol) = $75, visiting filmmakers, Kirby Dick was fantastic, Clive Holden and I ate lunch, I am in love with his film: Winnepeg Trains, 14 Film Poems.
I chaired the 1st ever RE-VISITING FILMMAKERS event, 11 Alumni filmmakers spoke to our students and faculty & argued over lunches while building makeshift bridge for current students LA success story. Crammed so much information into my brain all at once, then spit it all out over a one week continuos vomit marketing fest.
Crispin Glover comes to town this weekend with his film What is it? Later, Hal Hartley is due at the Loft Cinema in May. Should be interesting to see Tucson's reaction.
I may have a chance to sit on Marketing committee for the Loft Cinema, prospects are good, and I'm going to jump.
Kids are now in full time daycare while Sarah is back at work. She seems to like it, and kids are crazy about new friends and toys, fun and games. Life isn't so bad.
